Complete Journal ("we," "us," or "the app") is a private, personal journaling app. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not collect your location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or usage-tracking data, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
We use your information solely to provide the app: to authenticate you, store and display your journal, and let you save or share the cards you create. We do not use your content for advertising or sell it to anyone.
We use your email address to send account and service messages you need to use the app (such as sign-in and account notices). With your permission, we may also send occasional product updates, tips, and news about Complete Journal. You choose whether to receive these optional emails when you sign up, and you can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any such email or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect essential account messages.
Your account and content are stored securely using our hosting provider (Supabase), which provides database and file storage on our behalf. Access is restricted so that you can only see and edit your own data.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that operate the app's infrastructure (such as hosting and storage), and only as needed to run the service. We may disclose information if required by law.
Complete Journal is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page.
